Natalie Benton*

Mankato Golf Club

Natalie is from Mankato, MN and works at the Mankato Golf Club on the grounds crew for the last 3 years. This will be here 2 year attending South Dakota State University and majoring in Criminology and a minor in Legal Studies. Her future plans consist of getting her bachelor’s and moving on to law school to pursue being a lawyer. In her free time she enjoys golfing, fishing, and being w friends and family. 


Lara Boudinot

Golden Valley Country Club

Lara Boudinot has a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota and is a bartender at Golden Valley Country Club. Through her undergraduate studies she traveled around the world studying wildlife and found a love for large mammal research. In October she will be undertaking a PhD in Conservation Biology from the University of Oxford near London, with a field research component in Uganda. Working at Golden Valley has brought her a sense of community and dedication to hard work that she hopes to bring with her to Oxford University. 

Isaac Brennan

Mankato Golf Club

Isaac is from Mankato, Minnesota. He will be entering his freshman year at the University of Minnesota this upcoming fall. He will be majoring in finance with a minor in business analytics. He has worked at the Mankato golf club as a bag boy for just over 2 years now, and has enjoyed all the ups and downs that came with it. When Isaac isn’t working, his hobbies consist of golfing, fishing, boating, and working out. This scholarship will help aid Isaac’s college education where he can later help and assist others in the business community.

William Currie
Interlachen CC
William is from Chanhassen Minnesota and has worked at Interlachen for two years now. He started as a wait assistant his first year and then moved towards being a host this year. He will attend the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in the fall as a freshman majoring in computer science where he plans to use his skills towards software development. He will also swim collegiately as a swimmer for their D3 swim program where he will swim sprint butterfly and freestyle events. Some of his favorite things to do involve being outside, sports, or socializing. He especially found a new love for rock climbing over the summer.
John Paul DeReuil*
Somerset Country Club
JP is a sophomore at Benedictine College and is majoring in nursing. He has been working at Somerset Country Club for the past 6 years and has also been working in the bag room at Somerset for the last 2 years.  He has six other siblings, two of whom are former caddies, and two younger siblings who are also caddying at Somerset. In his free time JP loves to play piano, read, golf, volunteer at Mary’s Place, and spend time with his friends and family.
Annika Diethelm

Interlachen Country Club

Annika is from Chanhassen, Minnesota, entering her third year at the University of Minnesota, studying Kinesiology. With this she plans to get her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and to become a PA in a hospital. Annika has worked at the Interlachen Country Club for two years as a banquet server and a banquet bartender. Along with this, she also works as a CNA at a hospital on campus to gain healthcare experience.

Taylor Effertz

Windsong Farm Golf Club

Taylor is from Orono, Minnesota, and has worked at Windsong Farms for over two years. She is beginning her first year at the University of Minnesota, where she will major in biology on a pre-med track. In her free time, Taylor enjoys photography, baking, and spending time on the lake. This scholarship will help Taylor pursue her dream of going into the medical field, where she will be able to help people every day.

Ava English

Brackett's Crossing Country Club

Ava English is from Lakeville, MN and works for Brackett’s Crossing Country Club (BCCC). She has worked at BCCC for 4 years as a dining room assistant, pool server, and now restaurant server. This fall, she will begin her junior year at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse (UWL). She will be starting UWL’s Radiation Therapy Program and is so excited to pursue a rewarding career as a Radiation Therapist! During her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, running, traveling, and doing crafts. Ava is so honored and grateful to have received this scholarship as it will help her reach her goals for the future!

Abby Fogarty

Windsong Farm Golf Club

Abby is from Waconia, MN and has worked in the Housekeeping department at Windsong for two years. She is a first-generation college student and will be a freshman at Drake University this fall. Abby will be studying Public Health with the end goal of becoming an Occupational Therapist. In high school, she played Varsity golf and continues to play golf with family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and sewing with her Grandma. Abby is honored to be granted the Holes Fore Hope Scholarship, which will help her achieve her educational goals.

Alec Harris*

The Minikahda Club

Alec is a senior at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, pursuing a degree in Sport Management. He started caddying at Midland Hills Country Club in 2015, and has been working at The Minikahda Club since 2022. Alec's goals are to live in places that he wants to and explore the opportunities that the sports industry has to offer!

Jack Kimlinger

Wayzata Country Club

Jack has worked at Wayzata Country Club since 2018 in outdoor golf services, as a caddie and caddie master. This fall, he will be a senior at the University of Minnesota where he's studying kinesiology with plans of attending Physical Therapy school after graduation. Outside of class, He's the president of the club hockey team, and also enjoys golf, working out, and most other outdoor activities.

Amber Lamphere*

Windsong Farm Golf Club

Amber is beginning her senior year at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, where she plans to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Marketing this May. She is also working towards obtaining her real estate license and hopes to pursue a career in this field. Originally from Howard Lake, MN, Amber has worked at Windsong Farm Golf Club for the past three summers, which has provided her with invaluable experience and connections that she plans to take with her as she enters the business world.

Lauren Landry

Golden Valley Country Club

LoLo is from Golden Valley, Minnesota, and has been working at Golden Valley Country Club for 2 years as a food runner, in golf course concessions, and as a server. She completed her first year of college at the University of San Diego where she is on a pre-med track studying Biochemistry and Biomedical Ethics. LoLo is particularly interested in pediatrics with hopes of serving kids in our community who are struggling with the hardships of childhood cancer. As an undergraduate, she currently volunteers at Regions Hospital in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, as well as the Burn Unit. She credits Golden Valley Country Club with affording her the opportunity to develop relationships and professional advice that will carry into her future career. She is grateful for the members and coworkers who have made working at the country club a positive experience. Receiving this scholarship will help provide funding for the necessary steps in pursuing her career. LoLo aims to support scholarships like Holes Fore Hope in her future. 

Lauren Marzinske

Mankato Golf Club

Lauren is going to be a Freshman at MSU this fall and she intends on majoring in Communication Sciences & Disorders. Some of her hobbies include listening to music, lifting weights, fishing, hunting and playing volleyball. She was also involved in various programs and activities throughout her high school career including volleyball, track, band, theater, student council, and honor society.

Jackie Moen

 Golden Valley Country Club

Jackie grew up in Chetek, Wisconsin and now lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. She recently graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Professional Writing and a minor in Legal Skills. Currently, Jackie is a first-year student at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and hopes to eventually work in personal injury or family law. Jackie has worked at Golden Valley Country Club for 3 years as a banquet server, alongside working outside in the concession shacks. She appreciates the friendly environment at GVCC, along with the opportunities to grow socially and professionally.

Rebecca Moore

Wayzata Country Club

Becca Moore is from Chanhassen, MN and has enjoyed working at Wayzata Country Club in the bag room for the past three years. She will be a first year at the University of South Carolina in the fall to further her education. Becca plans to study economics on the pre-law track. In her free time, she loves to golf and spend time on the lake.

Aaliyah Orso

Golden Valley Country Club

Aaliyah Orso is originally from Virginia, Minnesota, and relocated to Minneapolis to pursue her academic endeavors at North Central University, where she is currently studying Business Administration and member of the women's golf team. Her long-term aspiration is marketing project management, where she aims to utilize her creativity and genuine passion for interpersonal connections to drive market outcomes.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Aaliyah enjoys golfing, cooking, and continuous learning. Additionally, she actively volunteers at her church's youth group.


This was Aaliyah’s first summer at Golden Valley Country Club, where she experienced various responsibilities, including serving, golf course caddy shacks, and pool canteen responsibilities. Through this exposure, she has enjoyed genuinely connecting with members, observing the rewards of their hard work as they savor quality time together. Such encounters have inspired Aaliyah, particularly as many of the members hold significant positions in the business world, aligning with her professional aspirations. She is beyond grateful to receive the Holes Fore Hope Scholarship! 

Britnay Pacheco Vazquez*

The Minikahda Club

Britany is a first-gen, Chicanx student attending university of Minnesota. She’s planning on majoring in mechanical engineering to then attending graduate school. She’s involved in different clubs such as SHPE (Society of Hispanic professional Engineers), and mi Gente’s student org.. Britany hopes to become a prosthetic specialist and help serve her community. She has been working two summers for the Minikahda club but has had a life long relationship with it, since her father has worked to the club for over +20 years! Britany is very appreciative of the country club community for the support and care they have for their employees and their families. 

Molly Plotnik

Brackett's Crossing Country Club

Molly Plotnik graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lakeville North High School in 2023. She was captain of her tennis team and heavily involved in school activities while also working Outside Service and teaching Junior Golf at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club. She is going to further her education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she will be studying Marketing with plans of working in sports marketing in the future.

Jack Roers

Midland Hills Country Club

Jack Roers, a graduate of Roseville Area High School, has been an employee of the Midland Hills Country Club grounds crew for four years. He is beginning his sophomore year at North Dakota State University in the fall, pursuing a degree in turfgrass management. His passion and commitment to serving the game of golf will continue for years to come. 

Lily Rostal

Woodhill Country Club

Lily is from St. Louis Park, Minnesota. She currently work at Woodhill Country Club as a lifeguard, and as well as a caddy at the Minikahda Club. She will being entering her junior year at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is majoring in design and visual communications and pursuing a career in the field of graphic design. Outside of work and school she enjoy painting, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Stella Rostal

Woodhill Country Club

Stella Rostal is from St. Louis Park, Minnesota. She has worked at Woodhill Country Club for 2 summers now as a lifeguard. She is going into her freshman year at University of Nebraska Lincoln and will be majoring in communications. In her free time she enjoys reading, listening to music, and being with friends and family.

Kurt Schaefer*

Bearpath Golf and Country Club

Kurt is from Chanhassen, Minnesota. He has been a caddie and bag boy at Bearpath Golf & Country Club for over 7 years. This upcoming school year he will be a sophomore at the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in Medical Management. In his free time he enjoys golfing, fishing, boating, coaching football and spending time wherever with friends and family.

Ashton Sivilay

Olympic Hills Golf Club

Ashton Sivilay is from Jordan, Minnesota and a seasonal maintenance worker at Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie helping maintain the course during the golf season. During the fall, winter, and early spring Ashton attends University of Minnesota - Duluth. He plans to pursue his education in business finance as well as marketing. Ashton’s intentions are to become an overall entrepreneur in the business world. He enjoys being active, outdoors, and having a good time.

William Torbenson

Mankato Golf Club

William Torbenson is a recent graduate of Mankato West High School in Mankato. He has always been someone who loves to build, create and solve problems. This passion has led him to working at Linder Enterprises over the past year and to pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Minnesota State University in Mankato beginning this Fall. In his free time he enjoys golfing, rock climbing, downhill skii racing and spending time with friends and family.

Emily Trocke*

Windsong Farm Golf Club

Emily is from Norwood Young America, Minnesota, and spent her second summer with Windsong Farm Golf Club as a comfort station attendee and hostess. She is a sophomore at Clemson University in South Carolina pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, where she is also a member of the Honors College and the Tiger Dancers' Dance Team. Emily intends to work towards process improvement and efficiency within transportation systems. She looks forward to coming back to Minnesota in the summer and staying involved in the golf community at Windsong.

Cecilia Wallace

Dellwood Country Club

Cecilia Wallace is an upcoming junior at the University of St.Thomas studying both environmental studies and journalism. She has worked at Dellwood Country Club for the past two years and absolutely loves it there. In her free time, she loves reading, playing volleyball, and getting outside. She is beyond grateful for this scholarship and the assistance it will provide as she continues her academic career.

Mackenzie Weber*

TPC Twin Cities

Mackenzie is from Andover, Minnesota where she works as the Marketing Administrative Assistant at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. She will be an upcoming senior undergraduate in the fall at Johnson & Wales University located in Providence, Rhode Island where she is studying Sports, Entertainment, & Event Management with a concentration in Sports Management. For Mackenzie studying Sports Management gives her the ability to learn and serve the hospitality industry through memorable experiences and her dream is to one day be a General Manager for a professional sports facility.
Alex Weinberger

Interlachen Country Club

Alex is from White Bear Lake, MN and is in her second year at Interlachen Country Club. Starting as a pool and banquet server, she is a pool supervisor for the current summer. Alex is entering her senior year at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities studying nursing, and is captain of the alpine ski team. In her free time, Alex enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with friends and family. After graduating in the spring, she hopes to move west to pursue a career in nursing and a life in the mountains.

Julia Youngberg*

Brackett's Crossing Country Club

Julia is from Farmington, Minnesota, and this is her fifth year working for the grounds crew at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville, Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, and doing outdoor activities, especially hiking. This fall she will be a sophomore at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and will be continuing her studies in biological sciences. In the future, she plans to work in animal rescue and conservation. One goal she has is to help out at the rhino and elephant orphanages/sanctuaries in Africa. 

Olivia Youngberg

Olivia is from Farmington and it is her 5th year working on the turf team at Brackett’s. She is a junior at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona. There she is studying Music Education for K-12. In the future she hopes to work with middle school band students. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.

Emily Anderson

Oak Ridge CC

Emily is from Prior Lake, Minnesota, and has worked in the golf shop at Oak Ridge Country Club for about a year and a half. She just entered her sophomore year at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Psychology. Her long-term goal is to be a Doctor of Physical therapy. Emily recently added her psychology minor to get a better understanding of how she can help her patients recover from their injuries, not only physically, but mentally too. Helping others is something Emily is passionate about and she looks forward to what her career has in store for her. Day to day, Emily loves spending time with her family, being outside, and being active in any way possible.

Olivia grew up in Blaine, Minnesota, and will be a junior this year at the University of Minnesota, majoring in Plant Science. Olivia's summer internship was at Interlachen Country club as a Horticulturalist intern. In her spare time, she enjoys waterskiing, reading, and rollerblading.

Rori is from Watertown, Minnesota. She has worked as a lifeguard at Woodhill Country Club for four summers now. This past summer she managed the pool, as well as lifeguarding. Rori is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, pursuing a degree in Science Education with the intention of becoming a high school chemistry teacher. She was a part of her high school golf team, and now enjoys golfing with her grandparents and other friends in the summer. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and exploring the great outdoors.

Natalie is a freshman at South Dakota State University and she is majoring in Criminology and a minor in Psychology. Natalie is employed at the Mankato Golf Club as part of the grounds crew. Some of her favorite things to do are golf, playing guitar, and being around her family and friends.

Aislinn is from Red Bank, New Jersey, and spent her summer as a horticulture intern at Interlachen Country Club. Aislinn is going to be a senior at Rutgers University where she studies plant science and entrepreneurship. Aislinn is in the process of applying to the park ranger law enforcement academy, where she intends to make our park system a cleaner and safer place. Aislinn spends free time outdoors, cooking, or being creative.
Zach Conati

Golden Valley CC

 Zach worked at Golden Valley Country Club for 2 years as a banquet server and in front of the house in the dining room. The golf community and staff at GVCC has always been extremely welcoming and encouraged his growth.  Zach is from St. Louis Park Minnesota and went to high school there. He graduated with a bachelor's in Dietetics with a Minor in Exercise Science from Iowa State University and is currently attending the University of Indianapolis to complete his Dietetic Internship.  Zach enjoys Exercising outdoors, cooking different recipes, and going camping.  Aside from school, he is currently training for an Ironman Triathlon that will take place in June 2023.  In the future, Zach hopes to own his own fitness and nutrition consultation company focusing on community engagement and athletic development.

Catherine is from Crystal, Minnesota, and has been working at the Wayzata Country Club for over a year as a banquet server. Catherine is a student at North Hennepin Community College and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree. She hopes is that with her nursing degree, she will be able to continue serving others on a daily basis.

John is from St. Paul Minnesota and has three other brothers who all also caddied. John has caddied at Somerset Country Club for the past 5 years. In his free time, he likes to golf, swim, and play soccer. He is entering his freshman year at Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas and recently began an Intramural soccer team.

Haley Dietz

Golden Valley CC

Haley is from Montgomery, MN, and has been a Bartender at Golden Valley Country Club for over a year. Haley graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in May 2021. Currently, she is a second-year law student at Mitchell Hamline in Saint Paul. Haley is very grateful to the golf community and Country Club members across Minnesota who have taken time out of their golf outings to share professional advice. The scholarship will help Haley pay for her law school tuition.

Brynn Froelich

Brackett's Crossing CC

Brynn is from Farmington, MN and has worked as Outside Service at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club for the past two years. Brynn is going into her sophomore year at Gustavus Adolphus College and is majoring in Nursing. Her dream career goal is to be a Pediatric Nurse. At Gustavus, Brynn is involved in the Pediatric Cancer Outreach Crew and Big Partner Little Partner. Brynn loves to meet new people and go on adventures.

Alec Harris

The Minikahda Club

Alec is from Roseville, Minnesota, and will be going into his junior year at the University of Minnesota, where he majors in Sports Management. He spent 4 years working in the bag room at Midland Hills Country Club in Roseville before spending last summer on the golf services team at The Minikahda Club. In the future, he plans on working in the front office of a professional sports team or in player representation. 

Samantha Krueger

Samantha is from Austin, Minnesota. She is currently a freshman at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Samantha is attending the Carlson School of Management where she is studying Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Samantha just finished her fourth season working in the bag room and golf shop at Austin Country Club. She love's the relationships she has built with the members  Austin CC over the years of working there. 

Amber Lamphere

Amber is beginning her junior year at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, where she will continue to pursue a bachelor's degree in Marketing. Madeleine Larson

Bearpath Golf & CC

Maddy is from Shakopee, Minnesota, and has been working at Bearpath Golf and Country Club for two years now as both a banquet server and a beverage cart attendant. Maddy is going into her Junior year at the University of Minnesota where she is majoring in Genetics, Cell Biology & Development, and minoring in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance. After finishing her undergrad she hopes to attend graduate school for Genetic Counseling! In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her friends and family, baking, and traveling.

Logan Lillehaug

Golden Valley CC

Logan is originally from Frederic, Wisconsin. He now works as a shop assistant at Golden Valley Country Club. Logan attends the University of St. Thomas and studies Finance and Economics. In his spare time he likes to play golf and basketball, and fishing during the summer. Logan is very appreciative of the support that he has received from all of the members at Golden Valley and would love to someday be able to give back to students the same way that they are giving back to him.

Tom is from Minnetrista, MN where he has worked at Burl Oaks Golf Club for over 5 years in multiple roles. He has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison and is currently pursuing a M.S. degree in Product Design from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. In his free time, Tom enjoys playing golf, baseball, and making pottery. This scholarship will help support Tom's goal of developing products that better people's lives.

Katheryn Mainor

Olympic Hills GC

Katheryn is from Eden Prairie Minnesota. She has worked at Olympic Hills Country Club for a little over a year as well as at Campiello restaurant in Eden Prairie. Katheryn is currently a sophomore at Normandale Community college. Once she is done at Normandale, she will be finishing her degree in psychology, followed by a master's in social work, with the end game of being a children's psychologist. In her spare time, she loves doing anything that allows her to be creative including cooking. Katheryn has a passion for graphic design and is currently working on her partner's logo for his new company. She got a new puppy in May and has been thoroughly enjoying being "puppy parents".

Jessica Neu

Wayzata CC

Jessica is from Plymouth, MN. She works at the Wayzata Country Club as a Villa Attendant. Jessica studies Science Education with a minor in History with a certificate in Race, Gender, and Society at UW-Eau Claire. She is part of the marching band at the university. Jessica is also part of the Aspiring Educators club and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Jessica enjoys volunteering for the Reading Partners program through the university and at a respite camp in the Wisconsin Dells.

Britany Pacheco

The Minikahda Club

Britany was born and raised in Minneapolis but has lived in Bloomington the past 3 years . Britany is currently a second-year student at the University of Minnesota. She is a part of the College of Science and Engineering program with the plan of majoring in Biomedical Engineering and possibly minoring in Chicanx studies. Britany would like to minor in Chicano studies because she believes it is important for me to embrace a large part of my identity as a first-gen Mexican-American student. She previously worked at the Minikahda Club during the summer of 2020. But both of her parents have worked there for six and 20 years! She  enjoys dancing, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her loved ones. 

Nathan Rouse

The Players Club at Deer Creek

Nathan is from Omaha, Nebraska. He is currently the Assistant Superintendent at The Players Club at Deer Creek, and he is wrapping up his Associate’s Degree in Turfgrass Science and Management at Penn State. Nathan's hobbies include fishing, golfing, hiking, and watching football. The Holes Fore Hope Scholarship has eased the financial burden of receiving a degree and it has helped Nathan and his wife buy their first house.

John is from Prior Lake, Minnesota. Entering his final year at Minnesota State University, Mankato. John was given the opportunity to work at Mankato Golf Club in the spring of 2021 as a bag boy. In the fall of 2021 John became a walk-on junior for the MSU golf team and played one season for the Mavs. He is extremely grateful for the Mankato Golf Club community for showing him the power of hard work, serving others, and building relationships. He is currently still working for Mankato Golf Club and for a local manufacturing company as an Operations Intern. John will be graduating in the spring of 2023, his goal is to work in Technology Sales as an SDR. John plans to be a part of the Holes Fore Hope mission and give back the same way he was helped for future champions.

Emma is from Excelsior, Minnesota, and works at Minneapolis Golf Club. She enjoys exercising and spending time with her friends and family. She also loves ice cream— and never skips dessert! Emma is just beginning medical school with her current dreams of becoming an emergency medicine physician. Her goal is to make connections with patients and provide interventions that may teach each one to a happier and healthier future.

Emily is from Norwood Young America, Minnesota, and spent her first year with Windsong Farm Golf Club as a Hostess. After graduating from Mayer Lutheran High School, she began her undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Clemson University in South Carolina, where she is also a member of the Honors College. Within her opportunity to be on the Dance Team at Clemson, Emily strives to inspire others to continue pursuing their goals and passions even when it's far from home. She looks forward to coming back to Minnesota in the summer and staying involved in the golf community at Windsong. She is more than grateful for the Holes For Hope Scholarship as it guides her academic journey and future successes with support from an exceptionally admirable organization.

Mackenzie Weber

Mackenzie is originally from Elk River, Minnesota where she worked as a clubhouse server at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. She recently graduated from Elk River High School and is currently continuing her education out east and studying Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. She is also hoping to continue to learn and develop more skills in the hospitality industry by transferring to TPC Boston located in Norton, Massachusetts

Ella is from Chaska, Minnesota, and worked at Bearpath Golf and Country Club. She is a first-generation college student and will be a junior attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying health promotion and health equity. When she is not studying or working, she volunteers at the children’s hospital and animal shelter.  Ella also loves hang out with friends and supporting Wisconsin athletics.

Julia Youngberg

Julia Youngberg is from Farmington, Minnesota, and has worked at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club for
the last 4 years. She is a freshman at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona where she is majoring
in biological sciences. In the future, she plans to work in animal rescue and conservation. One goal she has is to help at the rhino and elephant orphanages/sanctuaries in Africa. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family and doing outdoor activities, like hiking.

Micael Abramovich

Michael is a senior at the University of North Dakota. Graduating in the spring of 2023, he hopes to use his Commercial Aviation/ Aviation Business degree to continue flying in a professional aspect along with teaching the next generation of aviators the joys of flight. For the last 9 years Michael has spent his summers working in golf operations at Golden Valley Country Club. Michael wants to give thanks to the membership, and his dreams of becoming a pilot became a reality.


Rori Anderstrom

Rori is from Watertown, Minnesota. She has worked as a lifeguard at Woodhill Country Club for four summers now. This past summer she managed the pool, as well as lifeguarding. Rori is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, pursuing a degree in Science Education with the intention of becoming a high school chemistry teacher. She was a part of her high school golf team, and now enjoys golfing with her grandparents and other friends in the summer. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and exploring the great outdoors.

Dean Andraschko

Dean works at Golden Valley and has worked at the country club since the age of 13. In the summertime caddying and bag room work has shown him the importance of a tenacious work ethic and interpersonal skills. Over the years Dean developed a love for golf and now plays at least once a week. Dean will graduate from the University of Minnesota in December 2022 with a degree in Management Information Systems.

Teresa is currently finishing her final year at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She is  studying medicine with the intention of applying to PA school after graduation. Teresa has not had the opportunity to work at a country club since moving to Philadelphia, but there are many fabulous country clubs and cricket clubs in the area. It's on her bucket list to check some of them out soon.

Bailey will be attending Normandale Community College this fall and will major in Nursing, with the goal of being a Nurse Anesthetist. Bailey has worked at Golden Valley Country club as a bag room employee for one year. Bailey currently volunteers at a Children’s hospital in the emergency room as that is where he dreams of working. In his free time he loves to play golf with friends and bass fish.

Rose will be going into her sophomore year at the Franciscan University of
Steubenville. She is originally from Edina, Minnesota, where she worked as a food runner and server at Interlachen Country Club. She attended Chesterton Academy for high school, and she thoroughly enjoyed being on the student council and captain of the soccer team. Along
with being part of the swing dancing team, she performed in
Shakespeare plays. She hopes to use the strengths she learned in high school to pursue a degree in Marketing and Theology to work in the future as a Sales Representative.

Rachel is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She recently graduated from the University of Minnesota this past Spring with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Spanish Studies. Prior to that, Rachel had worked at Interlachen Country Club for three summers and occasionally in the winter months. Now Rachel has a job as a case manager for individuals with mental and physical disabilities, working with them to establish supports and services that will improve their well-being. Rachel is extremely grateful to have been awarded this scholarship and it has helped her pay for undergraduate tuition that got her to the position she is in today

Kalin has caddied at Wayzata Country Club for 7 years now and is very thankful for all of the opportunities that have come from it. He enjoys doing pretty much anything outside related,  hiking and hammocking. Max is starting his sophomore year at the University of Minnesota Duluth and is majoring in marketing.

Kate is a senior at St. Catherine University, studying communication studies and Spanish. In her free time, Kate enjoys traveling, sailing, and playing the steel pan drum. Leif is from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 2021. He spent 3 years in high school working at Bearpath Golf and Country Club in a variety of roles including golf operations, locker room attendant, and as a golf management intern. He is currently a sophomore at North Carolina State University, studying golf management and business. He plans on becoming a PGA Professional upon graduation from NC State.

Elisabeth will be completing her senior year at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, in May 2023, where she will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health sciences. Apart from being a loyal employee of Olympic Hills Golf Club for 5+ years she enjoys golfing in her free time with family and friends. She also enjoys exercise and is a group fitness instructor on campus which is a great way to keep involved in on-campus activities. After graduating, she anticipates attending the University of Minnesota's Dental Hygiene Program.

Olivia is entering her third and final year at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg Canada, pursuing History in the hopes of becoming a History Teacher. Starting in the fall of 2022 she will also be studying at Cardiff University in Wales UK. For the past five seasons she has spent her summers working at Bracketts Crossing Country Club in Lakeville Minnesota as a member of the Outside Service Staff, she has also been a  teacher in the Junior Golf program and a summer camp counselor in BCCC’s ‘Summer of Sports’ Camp.

When not at school, she dedicates her time volunteering at the Minnesota Zoo, working in outside service at Bracketts Crossing Country Club and teaching junior golf.  She will be a freshman this year at the University of Nebraska Lincoln studying biology on a pre-dental track. She plans to earn her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and has an ultimate goal of opening her own practice.

Thomas grew up in Roseville, MN. He has worked at Midland Hills Country Club for 5 years as a grounds crew employee in the summers. He is currently enrolled at Century College studying mechanical engineering. He plan's on transferring to the University of Minnesota Duluth to finish his degree. Some of his hobbies are golfing, fishing, playing pickup hockey, and cooking. Once he graduates he would like to move out west to be surrounded by the mountains.

John is from Prior Lake, Minnesota. Entering his final year at Minnesota State University, Mankato. John was given the opportunity to work at Mankato Golf Club in the spring of 2021, as a bag boy. In the fall of 2021 John became a walk-on junior for the MSU golf team and played one season for the Mavs. He is extremely grateful for the Mankato Golf Club community for showing him the power of hard work, serving others, and building relationships. He currently is working for a local manufacturing company as an Operations Intern. John will be graduating in the spring of 2023, his goal is to work in technology sales as an SDR. John plans to be a part of the Holes Fore Hope mission and give back the same way he was helped, for future champions.

Jack is from Plymouth, Minnesota where he worked for four years as a lifeguard at Woodhill Country Club. He is currently a junior at the University of North Dakota studying Commercial Aviation and Music. Upon graduation, Jack hopes to work as a flight instructor to share his passion for aviation with other students before exploring a career in the airline industry

Maggie is a graduate of Mankato East High School and is the daughter of Fred and Amy Taylor. Fred is the Superintendent at the Mankato Golf Club. Maggie is a senior at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and is majoring in International and Hispanic Studies, with minors in Politics and Environmental Studies. Maggie spent the 2021-22 academic year studying abroad immersed in the culture and language of Ecuador during Fall semester and Spain during Spring semester. During the 2022-23 academic year, Maggie will be a Campus Tour-Guide, New Student Orientation Leader, First Year Foundation Facilitator, and work in the office of the Center of International Education. Maggie has supported the golf industry through her participation in the We Are Golf activities in Washington D.C. Her plans after graduation from Juniata include teaching English abroad and attending law school.

Brett is originally from Glenwood, Minnesota where he worked at Minnewaska Golf Club for 5 years. He recently graduated from Augsburg University with Marketing & Management degrees. Upon graduation, Brett started as an assistant pro at Woodhill Country Club. Brett loves to play tournament golf and hopes to help others find a passion for the game.

Carson will be a part of the men’s golf team and will be majoring in business management/entrepreneurship. In the future, Carson hopes to transfer to a four year university to continue his education and golf career.

Jack has been working at Golden Valley Country Club for nine years as a caddie and a bag room employee. Jack is a senior at Santa Clara University and is majoring in Finance and minoring in Real Estate. The scholarship will help Jack pay for his rent.

He has spent the past 6 years caddying and the past 4 years working in golf service at Bearpath Golf and Country Club in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Next year, Jack will be attending the University of Minnesota to study International Business and Spanish.

Maggie

Maggie is a 2019 graduate of Mankato East High School where she participated in sports, student council, and other extracurricular activities. She will be starting her sophomore year at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA where she is a member of the women’s volleyball team and serves as a representative on the Student Athletic Advisory Council.  Maggie's dad, Fred, is the superintendent at the Mankato Golf Club where he has been employed for forty years. In the spring of 2019 Maggie and Fred had the opportunity to participate in the “We Are Golf” National Day at the Capitol in Washington D.C. where they met with industry leaders and government representatives to discuss upcoming legislation relating to the golf industry.

Emma’s favorite parts of golf are being outside, spending time with her dad and brother, and satisfaction that comes with sinking a long putt. When not studying or golfing, Emma loves to travel and do yoga.

Tom is entering his senior year in the aviation program at the University of Minnesota State, Mankato. Tom has been a part of the Mankato Golf Club's Bag Room staff for 3 years now. In the Spring, Tom hopes to become a flight instructor out at the Mankato Airport. This is one of many steps that he must take to achieve his goal of becoming an airline pilot.

​Zahn

Tyler is from Aberdeen, SD and comes from a long line of PGA members, following his grandfather and father into the profession. He graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Business Management while playing on the golf team. He then went on to become an Assistant Golf Professional at Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls, SD. He is now the 1st Assistant Professional at Woodhill Country Club in Wayzata, MN.
